HYPURCEL’S ORIGINAL THERMOFORMABLE FOAM
T-Series: Pin-point firmness targets at cost-effective densities
A proven workhorse since the 1990s, hyPURcel’s T-Series is trusted in footwear, flexographic printing, foam tapes and other applications where compression deflection and lower-density firmness performance are critical. This foam typically demonstrates advantageous adhesion properties due to the nature of its elastomer.
COST-EFFICIENT PRECISION
Downgauge without sacrificing firmness
T-Series achieves target compression deflection at lower densities, reducing overall material weights and improving cost-effectiveness. This can optimize the overall performance as a function of mass in many applications. For instance, customers have replaced higher-density materials — often in the 15-20 lb/ft3 range — with a more efficient T-Series grade at 8-10 lb/ft3.

TRUSTED IN ESTABLISHED APPLICATIONS
Footwear, flexographic printing and foam tapes
T-Series is a tried-and-true material for thermoforming, adhesion and compression performance. It maintains flexibility and firmness without compromise to breathability and moisture transmission as needed. In applications that don’t require extreme environmental or long-term stability, T-Series provides reliable, cost-efficient performance. And when conditions require greater stability under more rigorous conditions, including heat, cycle rates and compression duration, hyPURcel’s I-Series is often a better fit.
hyPURcel T-Series property sheets
Available in rolls and sheets with custom widths up to 62” wide and splice-free lengths up to 100’, skived to your required gauge. hyPURcel foams can be enhanced with functional additives such as antimicrobial, fire retardants, antioxidants and UV stabilizers. Value-added finishing processes include PSA, slitting, sheeting and fabric and film laminations. Custom color matching is also available.
Understanding hyPURcel naming conventions: The first two digits indicate density (lbs/ft3), and the last two indicate compression deflection (psi) per ASTM standards. The most commonly selected T-Series grades are T0805, T1015, T1515, T2040 and T0820.
